It's not the best time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot says it will get better with future models.

If it comes into contact with the wall or a furniture piece it gently smacks into it before moving along.
The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong for example, a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.
You can also create or merge rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This is a great feature to have if you have several areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there's clutter that needs to be removed frequently, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best robot vacuum mop combo performers in my tests, picking up debris on both carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first attempt. It is able to even vacuum up wet spills however I would recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot in.

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you could want. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, and an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also comes with a self-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.
The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its modern, sleeker design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet in height and depth and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has faster battery charging and can complete a cleaning of around 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
Lastly lastly, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and voice assistant that operates offline, HOME so you can manage it even when away from home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a set path.

Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does the job well. The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium model that comes with a variety of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It can build detailed floor maps, identify various flooring types and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are great however they can push the L10s into the premium category. This could make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.
